The People’s Panel – local decisions, local people
The People’s Panel consists of 3,000 residents who share their views with NHS Hull CCG and Hull City Council through the People’s Panel Survey. Anyone who lives in Hull can get involved and your answers will help to inform local policy, provision and decisions.
Panel members get involved in lots of ways:
- short text and email polls
- feedback by Facebook
- exclusive events
- questionnaires and surveys
- courses, workshops and conferences
If you join, you can decide how much or how little you get involved.
Hull City Council send a newsletter out once a quarter and contact People’s Panel members around every 6 weeks.
The surveys take about 15 minutes to complete and are circulated 4 times a year. When you complete a survey you may also benefit from local discounts or be entered into prize draws.
Tell us what you think and get involved with the health service, the council, the police, local business and charities.
The summer 2017 survey asked you about:
- Happiness and wellbeing
- How you feel about your financial future and that of the city
- Attitudes to people with mental ill-health
- The future of the NHS locally
Complete the questionnaire and share your thoughts here.
You can become a member of the People’s Panel online or by post. Hull City Council always endeavours to make sure that the survey accommodate the needs of everyone, and will provide other formats.

Spread the word
When surveys are open, it really helps us to spread the word when people share links to the survey with family, friends and colleagues via e-mail and social media.
We also appreciate it when organisations can include a mention of the survey in their newsletters, email-outs or on their web site or social media pages.
In return we will happily share survey results and include articles or information about supportive organisations in our People’s Panel communications.
Send your information by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org and put ‘Newsletter’ in the subject field.
Download our posters advertising the survey for noticeboards or for attaching to mail-outs:
If you have any questions or queries, please do not hesitate to contact us or Hull City Council at email@example.com.
