From 1 July 2022, Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) will be dissolved, and Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) will take over the responsibility for NHS functions and budgets. We will become part of NHS Humber and North Yorkshire ICB. You can continue to use this website to find the information you need, which remains relevant for the Hull area.

The process of becoming involved with Working Voices is quick and simple.

Participation in Working Voice is not an additional burden for businesses – the time commitment is small, the benefits are potentially great. There is no financial commitment, you do not have to pay to join the scheme or to partake in the services we offer.

Just request a visit from our Working Voices Engagement Manager who will chat in more detail about how the initiative works.

This will offer businesses the chance to find out more about the benefits of joining Working Voices and to discuss the most appropriate way of conducting any future engagement/consultation for that organisation. Methods could include paper surveys, electronic links to surveys, face to face chat with staff in canteens, via digital and social media channels or a blended approach.

The visit will also explain the ways in which NHS Hull CCG can support workplace health and wellbeing. This may involve input from services such as smoking cessation, weight management, drugs/alcohol advisory services, emotional wellbeing, NHS Health Checks. Many of these are FREE services.

Signing up simply involves a verbal agreement to participate and completion of an Employer proforma. We then promote the partnership via a website feature.

A nominated member of staff becomes the Working Voices Workplace Champion and will then receive all communications from NHS Hull which will offer relevant and useful information about health services. This formal link will ensure key information relating to local health services or issues can be relayed in a timely manner for the benefit of the wider local workforce.

If you are an employer and you are interested in getting involved please email Chris Mills, Engagement Manager, on Chris.mills4@nhs.net
