From 1 July 2022, Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) will be dissolved, and Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) will take over the responsibility for NHS functions and budgets. We will become part of NHS Humber and North Yorkshire ICB. You can continue to use this website to find the information you need, which remains relevant for the Hull area.

Office of the Police & Crime Commissioner for Humberside

Why has the Office of the Police & Crime Commissioner (OPCC)  joined Working Voices?

As a dedicated local employer of choice, we’re really keen to support this initiative which not only gives our people a voice when it comes to improving the provision of health care services across the area;  it also gives our workforce personal access to a huge array of health services during their working day.

Like lots of people these days, the team wear many hats and our organisation understands the challenge of juggling work and family life; sometimes it can feel really difficult to simply find time to look after your own physical and mental health.  Working Voices gives us a versatile way of being proactive and preventative, bringing a number of initiatives and health checks into the workplace to support a healthier and happier organisation now and in the future.

We know how important the health and well being of our people is and the impact that has on morale, retention and productivity.  Quite simply, we have some great people doing some great work – and we want to keep them!

About the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Humberside

The OPCC represent the public, taking on board the views of the community which help to set strategic priorities for Humberside Police, quite rightly based upon local need.   We hold the budget for the Force and set the local council tax charge for policing.

We’re a relatively small team that makes a big impact across our communities, commissioning local services to support victims and reduce crime.  Those services include victim support, drug and alcohol intervention, restorative justice, domestic abuse and support for victims of sexual assault.

We work with Community Safety Partnerships in Hull, East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire which enable local groups to embed vital community safety projects, effectively helping our communities to become self-sustaining and safer places for all of us.  Our team of Engagement Officers work hard across four council areas giving advice and guidance, and are our ‘eyes and ears’ when it comes to understanding the views of residents and agencies.

We believe in empowering our people to be the very best version of themselves and in doing so, to deliver the very best service they can to communities across the Humber region.  We’re proud to embrace organisational values that reflect our working ethos; to be Brave, Ambitious, Compassionate, working on a foundation of Trust to Connect people and services.
