Urgent care consultation
The Urgent Care Consultation is now closed. We are reviewing the responses and will release a report on our findings in due course. We would like to thank everyone who commented and shared their views.
Treating injuries from minor sprains to fractures, urgent care services are an unfortunate, but necessary, part of local healthcare.
In Hull, urgent care is evolving and Hull Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is asking for your thoughts on how these services will look in the future.
In order to improve opening hours and make health care services easier to use we would like to establish a new 24 hour urgent care centre at Bransholme Health Centre.
We propose to relocate some services within this new centre. It would offer immediate treatment to people whose condition is not serious enough to require a trip to Accident & Emergency at the hospital. It would also offer diagnostics (like X-rays and ultrasound) in the community.
We are keen to hear your views about our proposals. You can check out the frequently asked questions section for more info.
Want to read a local GP's thoughts on these proposals? Dr John Parker explains all here.
