From 1 July 2022, Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) will be dissolved, and Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) will take over the responsibility for NHS functions and budgets. We will become part of NHS Humber and North Yorkshire ICB. You can continue to use this website to find the information you need, which remains relevant for the Hull area.

 In Current Champions

Following a program about food poverty that showed a church round the corner from my house, I got involved with Hull 2020 Champions.

I have held two lunch events at Edinburgh street community centre, both times they have run on donations from the public. All the food we have served have been donated as well as entertainment and volunteers, both lunches have been very successful. Now I have done this I aim to develop the project further into a regular pay what you can afford café. This will both reduce food waste as well as provide meals in a safe and warm environment to those who might not otherwise get any.

I am now looking for a premise, equipment to set up a kitchen, regular volunteers and people/businesses who can give regular donations of food.

I am looking to work with anyone who might be socially isolated i.e. Retired couples, widows, widowers, low income families, single parents, and the homeless. I also would like as many people to take part as possible, if you are a good cook, or you just want to volunteer to write on the board let me know, because I want you to be part of this too.

Beneficiaries / participants

Retired couples, widows, widowers, low income families, single parents, homeless and socially isolated people.
