From 1 July 2022, Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) will be dissolved, and Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) will take over the responsibility for NHS functions and budgets. We will become part of NHS Humber and North Yorkshire ICB. You can continue to use this website to find the information you need, which remains relevant for the Hull area.

Fitmums & Friends have launched their ‘stay at home mile’ – a new idea to help keep people moving at a time when being confined and isolated may strongly limit ability and desire to be active.

They are encouraging people to run or walk at least a mile a day, in whatever space they have – it is even possible to run or walk a mile on the spot! A mile is about 2,000 steps. If people prefer, they can break this up and do, for example, 500 steps four times a day. This way the challenge also works for children, while older people can do arm chair walking on the spot.

To track completed miles, participants colour in a segment on the rainbow chart (downloadable via the website link below). Within a month, participants will have a beautiful coloured rainbow, which can also be displayed in a window to show support for our amazing NHS and key workers.

More information and the rainbow chart can be found on our website here.
