Hull Cardiac Support
The purpose of the Hull Cardiac Support group is to help local people with a heart condition to improve their lifestyle.
Hull Cardiac Support was formed by a small group of local heart patients in 2013 with the help of the Cardiac Rehabilitation team from City Health Care Partnership. The British Heart Foundation (BHF) encourages local cardiac support groups like ours and we are affiliated to the BHF in September 2013.
We give members access to guidance on lifestyle, diet and exercise from professionals who are invited to speak at our regular, monthly meetings.
All members provide mutual support to each other through shared interests and experiences.
HCS is a “not for profit” organisation, and meet our costs through fundraising, grants and donations.
We currently meet on the second Wednesday of each month, at the Danish Church, in Osborne Street.
