Health and Wellbeing Board
Hull Health and Wellbeing Board is a committee of Hull City Council. Board meetings are open to the public, although certain items may need to be considered confidentially. Papers will be made available one week in advance of the board meetings and can be accessed via the Hull City Council website link below.
Hull Health and Wellbeing Board includes key people from the main organisations responsible for health and care services in the city. The current membership is –
- Five councillors
- Three members of the Clinical Commissioning Group in Hull
- Director of Public Health
- Director with responsibility for Children’s Services
- Head of Adult Social Care
- A representative of Healthwatch (representing users of health and care services)
The Chair is Councillor Colin Inglis and the Deputy Chair is Dr Dan Roper of NHS Hull Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).
Board meetings are also attended by advisers who have specialist knowledge that can help members to carry out their duties. These include the Council Chief Executive, the Chief Officer of the Clinical Commissioning Group and a representative from the Hull Community Safety Partnership.
