From 1 July 2022, Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) will be dissolved, and Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) will take over the responsibility for NHS functions and budgets. We will become part of NHS Humber and North Yorkshire ICB. You can continue to use this website to find the information you need, which remains relevant for the Hull area.

The People’s Panel – local decisions, local people

The People’s Panel consists of 2,800 residents aged 16 and over who regularly share their views with NHS Hull CCG and Hull City Council through a detailed quarterly online and postal questionnaire. Anyone who lives in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire can get involved in the Panel, with health-related panel questions targeted towards Hull residents only. Your responses give us valuable insight into public services in the city and help inform local policy, service provision and decision-making. Feedback from these surveys is included within the six-monthly Hull CCG Patient Experience Report helping to improve patient experience in Hull.

How can I get involved?

Panel members get involved in lots of ways:

  • Taking part in short text and email polls
  • leaving feedback via the Council and NHS Hull CCG Facebook pages
  • online questionnaires and surveys

If you join, you can decide how much or how little you want to get involved. The surveys take about 15 minutes to complete and all completed surveys are entered into a prize draw to win shopping vouchers

Hull City Council distributes the newsletter quarterly and contacts People’s Panel members around every 6 weeks. In addition to this, the Vox Pops mini survey will typically seek local opinion on a range of topical issues and is promoted to the People’s Panel members and the wider public via the dedicated twitter account @ThePeoplesPanel, and the Council and NHS Hull CCG Facebook pages and partner social media accounts.

The Summer survey is now open!

This survey asks you about:

  • Climate Change
  • Humberside Fire & Rescue Service
  • NHS prescription charges and prescribing services

The first 200 responses will be entered into a special prize draw to win 4 tickets to the Wizard of Oz at Hull New Theatre on 19th June – the hottest ticket in town: https://www.hulltheatres.co.uk/events/wizard-oz

Spread the word:

When surveys are open, it really helps us to spread the word when people share links to the survey with family, friends and colleagues via e-mail and social media.

We also appreciate it when organisations can include a mention of the survey in their newsletters, email-outs or on their web site or social media pages.

In return we will happily share survey results and include articles or information about supportive organisations in our People’s Panel communications.

Send your information by e-mail to panel@hullcc.gov.uk and put ‘Newsletter’ in the subject field.

Download our posters advertising the survey for noticeboards or for attaching to mail-outs:

If you have any questions or queries, please do not hesitate to contact us or Hull City Council at panel@hullcc.gov.uk.
