From 1 July 2022, Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) will be dissolved, and Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) will take over the responsibility for NHS functions and budgets. We will become part of NHS Humber and North Yorkshire ICB. You can continue to use this website to find the information you need, which remains relevant for the Hull area.

Evening and weekend routine GP practice appointments

Routine pre-bookable appointments continue to be available across Hull every weekday evening and at the weekends. This ensures everyone can access help and advice when it’s convenient.

From 1 April 2021, groups of GP surgeries across Hull will be working together to offer this service. This means that you will be more likely to be seen within your own GP practice or in a location closer to your home. You will be able to book appointments with GPs, practice nurses, healthcare assistants etc. We will carry on offering a range of appointments, including face to face, telephone and video consultations.

Practices will continue to operate the triage system developed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. This ensures you are dealt with by the most appropriate team member.

To book a routine evening or weekend appointment, please contact your GP practice as usual. The 01482 247111 number you may have used previously will no longer be available to book appointments outside of normal GP practice hours.
